Would someone be so kind as to link me to the ‘Scribble the pet above you’ thread? I’ve really been wanting to participate and I’m too special to find it?

I may be MIA for a while, Nathan’s getting his wisdoms out today.

Day 02 - The biggest jerk you’ve dealt with (in game)?

I don’t have a picture for this anymore, because Nathan’s computer crashed… But we had this guy in our guild a couple months ago that got kicked out for begging. He would wait until the leaders weren’t on, and then would beg like nothing I’ve ever seen before. People would ignore him, and almost no one would talk to each other in guild chat in fear this guy would ask for stuff because he would mail you asking if you had any spare items. I mean, normally I wouldn’t mind someone asking, but he was asking for things like ectos and lodestones since he was working crafting something.

At one point someone tried to talk to him to give him pointers on how to get stuff for himself, at which point we found out that he did have a level 80 character, but I honestly don’t know how he got there since he said he’d never been to Orr and it was way to hard to even get anywhere close to that area.

Had he not been kicked from the guild I don’t think I’d have stayed in the guild myself =/

Day 01 - Your First Character.

I was brought onto the idea of GW2 via my fiance. Admittedly, I kind of lumped all MMOs together and figured this game would be nothing special. However, having my desk right next to his allowed me to constantly peek over until eventually I was watching him play for hours on end.
Generously, he let me play on his account for a very long time until we could afford to get me the game and a new computer to run the game.
My first character was an Asuran Ranger named Atii. I was horrified at the thought of playing the game by myself since we only had one account at the time, so a pet seemed like a great idea for me to learn with. I learned a lot with Atii and may have never gotten into the game without the backup from my pets.
My favorite moment with her was running in to get a Reef Drake. Though I was leveled up during the Karka event, those damn things were horrifying and there is always a Broodmother right in front of the nest!

it actually pisses me off a ridiculous amount how biased people are toward making porcelain white avatars 24/7, i can hardly even sell out 1 batch of medium or dark skinned items (human masks, elf ears) because of this and it’s incredibly disheartening

i don’t have anything against white people but man come on it’s not the only skincolor plz branch out a little

I personally love using dark skinned HAs
But
1. like 90% of lips / makeups, etc cater to light skin and look like crap on dark skin.
2. Let’s be honest, the ‘dark skinned’ colors for the HA are crappy and unrealistic skin tones and aren’t even ‘dark’ skin tones.
3. Somewhere I read that we may be getting a ‘salon’ type deal for skin tones? So people can pick their skin color? Not sure if it’ll ever actually happen but I’ll crap my pants if it does. Just saying.
